Move from within.
A great line I have heard from one of my favorite yoga teachers in reference to moving with self-exploration. Don't look left or right. Don't follow the instruction from her voice. Don't see what your fellow classmate is doing. Move from the place that tells you to move to the spot that your body calls for.
That's what I'm doing these days. That's how I'm making decisions. I have been operating under Ready. Fire. Aim. for a long time. Don't get me wrong... you have to take quick action in order to be successful in business. It's very effective because it's built my mental muscle for fear and rejection and failure. But sometimes it leaves me so dizzy that I do end up looking at the classmates to see which way is up and which way is down. Knocking me even more off course than if I would just close my eyes. Breathe. And get my earrings straight.
Because none of our breath is unison. None of us have the same pace. We all come into every situation with that previous story.
And so now I have to follow my story. Listen to my breath. Move from within.
I have worked really hard for a long time to build that life that I have now. To have a great partner, two beautiful children, and some options with time and money to be with them. I have options to create a new business. I have options to write this blog... to listen to my heartbeat and let my fingers translate it's message.
I no longer am trying to keep up with anyone. Anyone in business. Anyone in parenting. Anyone influencing. I am only making decisions that serve me.
So I write. I sell shampoo with an awesome team. I talk about things that matter to me. I focus on my health and building my home. I seek the truth. And I am settling for nothing less than a life that fills me up to the brim.
